I was wondering about Rommel. No kidding. I was thinking back to the movie with James Mason playing Rommel and wondering just what made them make that movie the way they did, what it might've been about Rommel in particular that might have been brought out in it, wondering if Rommel's memory has been as tainted in the historical record as many of his compatriots and if he deserved it, if the real end was like the end in the movie... worrying about Mrs. Rommel telling the kid.... Not an hour ago, and then bip bam, Rommel comes up in my blind clictivity.
