Instead of all this crap about a PC James Bond, what about letting the poor man die of old age? I'd've wanted to ask for him to go decently to his grave, but they've already ruined that.
Plus, this puts me in mind of when I was shouted down as a "homophobe" because I piped up about 007 being the absolute pinnacle of the heterosexual alpha male and suggesting he should romance even men for Queen and country is blasphemy.
What's wrong with coming up with a brand new spy with no morals? I mean, I'd love the chance to pant over Idris Elba as a master spy alpha male... or any other kind of alpha male... especially if they could raise the screenplay and tone down the explosions... but, as it is, couldn't we just leave the Fleming characters alone now?
