The Coon Fire has not crossed Deer Creek. Hand Crews and dozers have completed a secondary containment line on the ridge top south of Deer Creek.

Bear Fire firefighters using existing roads, dozers and firing operations to minimize spread.

Both fires will be staffed with a night shift.

Hoping the humidity will recover to 50-75%.
... they're already going back down. I'm really cutting the padding words and sentences and PR blather out of the InciWeb reports to help it start sinking in what is actually being DONE about the fires.

Happily for me, the smoke is blowing east today and so the pain is low.

We got one helicopter back and the fire got another thousand acres.
