It seems back to normal today. They musta been outfitting all their servers with this shit. It sent me off down the path of trying to get a font I want again, but I pulled myself back because this still isn't the blogging platform I want. I'm still dreaming I can do something about it.

I went through the sundry preparations for making my body available to the doctor-like entity who oversees my access to certain vital physiological additives this morning. This actual morning. 9:20am means I must present myself at 9am, sharp, and I'm moaning that this is the middle of the frickin night and they're saying the next late afternoon appointment is in October. So.

So I had to force myself to sleep for two nights at decent hours and have Billy call me at seven to make sure I'd gotten up. I actually had already gotten up... by some miracle of ninesness. So I got to have a nice chat with him instead... before heading off through the ripped up streets and highway straight into the direction from whence all the smoke comes.

Delays notwithstanding, I arrived at 8:55am, feeling virtuous. I had to sit on a hard chair until 9:20 until a nurse came for me. She weighed me. Oh, you're putting on weight again. Yes, that's why I'm here... trying to nip this action in the bud before I can't zip my pants anymore. Then she took my blood pressure. Perfect! Yes. It started going up and then I changed my diet and it went right back to perfect. I wish there were a dietary fix for my thyroid.

She put me in an examination room, even though they never examine me, where another hard chair awaited my butt. On the stroke of 10:20am the doctor walked in. We upped my dose, sent specific instructions to the pharmacy, and I went over to the lab and let them draw some blood out of me.

I'd like a damn nap so I can keep resisting calling them names, but it's too fucking noisy out there with all the road ripping and constant backup beeping and crashing and thumping and rumbling and the honking horns of frustrated/frightened neighbors.

always and any time....
