Is that so many of us can see them doing this shit, and know it for what it is, and yet they continue unimpeded. It is not good for one's faith in humanity. And, unless you are willing to believe that there is a master race with a paradise somewhere we can't see, keeping this system working at a full boil to... to... to what? Pay their slaves? Have billion-dollar yachts built to be lifted off world when the rest of us are sleeping? There is no secret space program and breakaway civilization.
There's just Earth and everything we don't know about, because it's hidden, because we don't recognize what we see, because we are too afraid to look, because we are too busy working to afford the Malthusian lottery, because it's just completely beyond our ken to contemplate, because it's too humiliating to recognize our own mental conditioning has blinded us and atone for it and do better and fix this filthy wreckage, and all our bleating about human rights is just for drill, for looking innocent, for thin air.
