Is very close to turning 16... the age of consent in some places... practically middle-aged in others... but I don't think I can express how exhausted I am by this outrage. The people of Afghanistan are not giving up. Nor should they... but my fear is that psychopaths are capable of exhausting all opposition... that no one human can outlast them... that they never give up so long as they are alive... and after they die, there are always more stepping right up into their shoes.
