I haven't heard anything about the changes in the Gulf Stream since the travesty of the gushing oil and dread toxins shoved it out of whack a few years ago, but not all of the Atlantic is "generally too cold" for hurricanes to develop, obviously... and Britain would be covered with snow every year without it... and it's not unheard of for cripesakes. So settle down.
