It has been strange that he still managed to have an interesting life, despite almost all of it being spent behind bars. We will probably never know the full truth about him, but I do remember a Quentin guard insisting he was the most lucid and interesting of all the prisoners while he was there. We don't get to know because our media are too busy pumping out the lies they're told to spew to be able to discern.
