Sleep-deprived and attended by chaos as usual, I think a judge recognized there was a living, breathing sentient being in distress who needs his attention. I think even the court reporter got that, too. So all hope is not lost... or more at: I may have fished some hope out of a sea of errors and unbelievably bad luck and severely pathological circumstances.
Of course, I might have been hallucinating.
