It's a six-hour investment of time to hear about Jordan's arcane researches or imaginations, but he's not going to be around much longer, and sounds like maybe he's not going to wander off down the garden path, maybe will give an uninterrupted dissertation of his particular quirky take on the origins and dogma of religions.
I have always felt that at least half of his word associations are poppycock because none of this stuff was originally in English, that you can't say things like it's-not-son-it's-sun because the word "sun" was not "sun" in the original. It didn't even sound like son or sun. And "Suez" being "Zeus" spelled backward is just stupid. Shit like that.
