I had to leave my windows open all night because it was still 70º at midnight and I needed to go to bed. I put on Dan Carlin's Blueprint for Armageddon series to help smooth out the racket from the highway, and awoke near seven to him telling the story about the Christmas truce in 1915, about the spontaneous brotherhood that broke out between Germans and Brits on the front, the beautiful break in the carnage.
Then I came over to my computer....
