It's JUST evil... with a makeup artist. Roger Waters has never been a truly intelligent or even a truly creative person. He's never not been so deeply traumatized as to be incapable of a genuine action or opinion or reflection. His entire shtick may have metamorphosed from arrogant punk who reviles mere meaty mortals, to champion of the downtrodden who uses his fame to remind everyone how fucked up we are... deigning to now come among us where he once found us too repulsive to even look at. He has not changed. He has not reformed.
The trauma, whatever it was, was obviously very early and he's NEVER emerging from his sick ego. It may sound ungrateful to be so blunt about this, but things like human rights and dignity were NEVER supposed to be used to further totalitarianism, and if you don't glimpse the distinction, we really ARE sunk.
