To convince the rodents to evacuate. I haven't heard even half a peep outta them in over a week, and I very brazenly went after the grey rats and the dark chocolate brown mice like a Genghis Khan warrior wherever they appeared.
It is unclear, though, whether I've merely conveyed the imperative of silence to them, or actually succeeded in convincing them to move back over to rez property and rebuild their decimated nests.
There is also a distinct possibility that my neighbors chummed them back home and the owls will be dropping any day now. I do not know if I should gather the strength to discuss this with them.
