It is better for personal freedom, for allowing the strong and good to become ascendant enough to count, but it's also better at crushing people who have what you want from a distance than socialism is. Everywhere on earth the only solution to human suffering is for us to become better people. How many will go to that extreme?

It's just steady mindfuck out there. There's nothing but greed preventing a successful integration of socialized basics and capitalist extras into a basis for a flourishing species. Too many people are invested in things like insurance companies and lifelong work to be a doctor whose talents are so rare people will pay anything to get use of them.
Marxists just kill those guys. Chavistas just try to block the collateral damage, stop the deaths in the dirt, from running a whole country that way... which IS the route to optimizing the prospects for the whole nation, not just the capitalist success stories. But, damn it all, that limits the capitalist success stories' options! And! It limits imperialist control.
