Given all the givens, had I been in charge, I'd've had guys out scouring the hulls of every ship in the gulf for mines until I was as sure as possible there were no more to explode. In fact, I wouldn't just do it once. I'd be having 'em out there 24/7, looking for mines and frogmen.

I should add we have NO assurance even that the night vision video of men appearing to remove a mine from the hull of a ship was actually of Iranians. It goddam even could be video of the original emplacement being played backward for all we know. It's just ALL outright ludicrous and if you think there's even a modicum of merit to it, you need educating VERY badly.
Luckily, there's a faint indication it's exactly as I have mentioned before.
