The downside is ALWAYS placed on The People, and NEVER the leaders... in ANY monetary system. And this ALWAYS works on you because you are driven by the same motor as they are. What attributes you have to mitigate against it are used against you and you succumb EVERY time because your will for good is NEVER as strong as their will for profit.
