Ran into another Vietnam vet at the grocery store tonight. He says he trades off wanting to shoot himself with wanting to shoot idiots. I'm pretty sure he was speaking colorfully because he spends every winter in Mexico and the rest of the year in Brookings. Other than being old and stove up, he's got it pretty mellow.
