I did get a splendid evening nap last night, but, of course, I paid for it. My whole body is baying like a pack of sled dogs for sleep. The outer layers of my brain are feeling pulpy and dim. There is this awake space directly behind my eyes, like a crowbar in the gears. Do you think that if we were a nocturnal species I might have a life?
