I would laud them whenever I could see the higher spiritual value in some of their decisions or stances, but it seems to me good old Ahmadinejad was actually keeping the ayatollahs closer to the straight and narrow than anyone since.
Iran no longer confines itself to protecting people from Israeli and Saudi aggression wherever feasible. Nope. They've branched out into frank proxy warring AND killing American troops. Their love for Soleimani, their top proxy war strategist and American killer is maybe touching in its intensity, but what in the fuck did they EXPECT?
And this little stunt was just plain DUMB. Jesus.
