In the morning, all the smoke seemed to be hugging the ground, and by afternoon, I could actually see a tiny blot of definite blue sky behind the general fugue of clouds, fog, smog and smoke. There's a few more tiny blots of blue sky today because there's a breeze, and the general chaos up there isn't nearly as dirty.
