Is flipping and rolling around Northern California like a pinball, so fires are still starting... though right here on the coast the temperatures and wind have gone way down over the last three days.

Tonight I see there's yet another ludicrously unnecessary study in forest management just out and maybe I need to go outside and chainsmoke for a bit to keep from screaming.
Humans have lived here for a minimum of TWELVE THOUSAND YEARS, and maybe only for a couple hundred of them did we not know what this jackass study shows. If I could weild a two by four well enough these days, there'd be some dented-in skulls somewhere right now, preferably Sacramento.
