I feel for him, his intense desire to know for sure about an ancient mystery, and a life full of it, all for [nearly] naught. I pity it because I know that desire. The only way to deal with it is to pursue it from the cosmos inside your skin, whether or not you have the money to go investigate the remnants in person.
