Is people out there acting like natural forces — normal economic cycles — are doing all this. It's all goddam planned and put into motion by psychopaths we don't actually have to obey, but idiots do. I know I'm weird, but the very instant I heard the bit about a "new normal" I was screaming, "DON'T tell ME what normal is!" And that's what they're doing.
