I remember the days when mercenaries were heavily frowned upon. Yes, even back then, they would be cut a little slack if it had been in what we considered a good cause, but, generally, mercenaries couldn't really admit what they did for a living because it was shameful stuff, really only a half step up from being a hit man.
And the term "contractor" doesn't really fix that.
We were right back then, and this stuff is VERY wrong. If you can't figure out why, I think you need to go off and work on yourself for a while, or retire from the field of discourse on such matters for good.
