That went right the way up to the very finest edge of the unutterably unacceptable under any circumstances and luckily for everyone not a micron past there. I had always been fairly neutral on the question of Dirk Bogard, but, damn. He really nailed it in this movie. Maybe I don't have a dirty-enough mind, but I've always viewed it as a desperate widower in the throes of his second childhood completely losing everything that even approximated sense, save his sense of decorum.
