"Everything Is Broken"Big news of the morning is that power may be being restored at my house even as we speak. The power company is putting in huge generators to make up for the cut power lines. Of course, the other news is that there may be no way to stop the fire until it rains... which could be months.

So I'm calling the post office to see if we are getting reliable, steady, normal power or unreliable, intermittent, not-normal power. Everything's broken and deteriorating.
