We were both at a 24-hour diner in San Anselmo very late at night, trying to write. He was stuck and I was scribbling away merrily. Gawd he was cute. Still, he did not try to flirt with me... eleven years older than me... just came over and griped about being blocked and I was freakin' him out... wanted a peak at what I was writing... asked if he could use one line.
