That PROVE Dave McGowan's book was bullshit, beside the fact that the Whiskey and Capitol Records were both provably the hottest things going in music at the time. Well established kind of provably and EASY for anyone to check.
YET, on the strength of his stupid book about Laurel Canyon, even people with brains think practically all the greatest musicians of our time were creations of some dark cabal of world leaders. Drives me nuts.
