Even though he can pronounce "Qatar" correctly. At the end of the interview he's talking about how CIA is just a big, paranoid, bureaucracy incapable of pulling off a conspiracy.
THAT isn't the problem.
Factions within it are perfectly capable of pulling off conspiracies without a single co-worker getting a whiff... and they have used that too goddam many times for ANY of us to doubt it another minute.
Plus, Russia is not in the least reluctant to speak with Iranians. It's a good point that our presidents have Qatari mediators as sources of solid information, even as human communication devices, without ruffling the polarized populace, but... well, I don't like him.
He's either being dishonest or he's dim, or both.
