Yesterday, I saw something about Donald wanting military to augment law enforcement and thinking it would've been nice if he'd made a bigger deal out of wanting this FOR IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT only, not to help squish the citizenry.
It's thorny because I don't think anyone could have foreseen that an administration would have underwritten an invasion as the last one did... that there would've been ANY way for an invasion to get to where it is under a functioning US government.
It was NOT a functioning US government. It was a functioning coup d'etat.
