Because it was ALL huffing and puffing and flubbing spectacularly. But today I was drawn in by a little picture, and what to my wonder but a 21-year-old Uzbek-American man lit me up. He's putting the art back into it and figured out how to leave the huffing and puffing and spectacular flubbing behind.

Truly, I was SO sick of the endless ugly setups for jumps that were not worth it, even if they did not go ass over tea kettle when they tried to land. It was so much carnage, punctuated by simpering or mincing careful bleh. The sport I'd found SO elegant and relaxing for so long had turned to outright shit.
