Boobee doesn't deserve to be on the same continent with that man, let alone having a medal pinned on him in our name.
I've decided not to watch the SOTU, except maybe a few short clips where it might look important to know about. I know Donald is completely and beyond redemption full of shit. None of his good deeds, and there have been many, can outstrip the completely evil ones in my eyes anymore.
I've wanted to explain the evil ones as necessary to accomplish the most good.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
NOTHING makes him worthy to breathe in the same room as that helicopter pilot, let alone send him into harm's way OR pin a medal on him for it. I'm hard pressed to imagine what he could ever do to put it right, to shift the balance in favor of the future love paradise we all want, in our deepest hearts, to be building.
And, lest you still misunderstand my anger, no, there was NO better choice left on the ballot in 2024. I'd've voted for Bobby, and it made voting for Boobee less demoralizing to know Bobby would be in charge of HHS. I remember the moment I realized I'd have to pick DJT, that I could not sit that one out. It was when I heard the gunshots and saw him drop behind the dais at Butler.
No matter how unworthy he is or could ever be, it's not AS unworthy as the other side.
All that is cold comfort now.
