My ISP will be shutting down for a major upgrade on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. I think. They say the upgrade starts on the 3rd and is expected to end on the 5th... "overnight" to minimize disruption. I'm thinking this means we're still happening during the days so that businesses can still transact.
That might minimize it for earthlings, but for those of us, obviously, born on Planet Nine, well, we're fucked. Best case scenario for us is we are experiencing an anomalous desire to sleep at bonafide night and be lucid and at least marginally functional from bonafide morning until we get too sleepy to stay awake all bonafide night.
It's not, and never has been, "internet addiction" for me. It's I don't know my ass from a hole in the ground without the internet anymore. Can't afford it. Can't even abide it. I have no phone. I have no radio. I have no tv. I have no working clock.
So, basically, and I know this is shocking, I'm liable to be much weirder'n usual for a couple days this week.
I'm sorry, but this fuckin' box is my only intersection with "normal" and my only retreat from it at one and the very same time.
