I have only skimmed it.
Yesterday, our boys and girls sank an Iranian war ship. I don't know if it was propaganda or actual but I saw a MEME image of a Nazi sub rescuing Brits who survived them sinking their ship. If I remember where I saw it, I'll come back and link it, but, no, according to it, our boys and girls did NOT fish those Iranian sailors out of the sea.
I did not have much pity for the Venezuelan drug runners in the incident where we were accused of a "double tap" where there were clearly two guys still alive and clinging to wreckage afterward. [1] They were criminals; [2] logistics for any party going to rescue them may have been prohibitive; and [3]it might actually have been a mercy killing. Lots of gray areas there, morality-wise.
I'd much rather get blown up than be left as shark food.
But Professor Marandi has told us about the double taps in the Tehran bombings. Unequivocal. Absolute. That's someone else who would not lie. So, until Neo-Caligula, only Genghiz Khan and the Israelis were known for slaughtering first responders after an attack, and I don't know how many hundreds of years the practice of taking any survivors at sea or on land prisoner has been the practice, but probably at LEAST two.
I'm with Gandhi. Western Civilization would be a good idea.
It's gotten much, much worse from there.

Oh, wait! The very next thing after posting this. It's not a meme at all! Hit the translate button on this tweet:
Remember yesterday's news story about the US boasting about one of its submarines sinking an Iranian ship? Well, it turns out that ship wasn't even armed because it was coming from a ceremonial event in India, where it had been invited and one of the conditions was that it be unarmed. The ship's crew, more than 180 strong, even marched in Visakhapatnam on February 19th. Now they're all dead at the bottom of the sea because the US decided to kill them, completely defenseless and more than 3,000 km from the war zone.Jesus. Christ. On. A. Crutch.
And believe it or not, that's not all; the US fleet had also been invited to the event but cancelled at the last minute because they had already made plans and knew what they were going to do.
And if you thought that was all, of course not. It turns out there were survivors and wounded after the attack, but the US didn't help ANY OF THEM, leaving them to die at sea and violating all international maritime principles, norms, and laws. If you ask me, it's an outrage.
There you have the "best" army in the world, and India is also being heavily criticized because they did nothing to help or escort them.
pipe up any time....
