To use a term I saw Michael Tsarion using recently. I like it. I may adopt it for the future. You probably still wonder how a supposed zen mistress can be such an unladylike potty mouth, but all those years in a law office and all those years with a logging boss, and my admiration for Lenny Bruce, plus the need to shock people out of only hearing or reading what they already think, have rendered me oblivious to those ancient strictures of comportment.

And don't forget to vote for Alan Watts in the hero contest. He came on the radio with his talks when I was most vexed and hurt by the world, and he gave me the courage to go on... and to do better. Even while he is long gone, he continues to do that for countless suffering beings. That's a huge hero, compared to almost any you might name.
