There's all kinds of good stuff in there anyway, I'm sure... and less onerous than spending so many hours on Maha... though... well... maybe not as fruitful either.

You could do both. Start with Neil and then buckle down to Maha. Do it often enough to start getting a good idea where you want to look, what you want to find out about... or at least have a cogent question or two.
