But, in general, we've been pretty much fucked since about 1970. Though, there has been a tendency to keep the older styles available for men. I remember hearing of husbands who'd dug in their heels and wives scouring the shops for their favorite kind, griping how hard it was, but emerging victorious.
Maybe now that there's the internet to reach the maximum number of weirdos, this isn't as much of an ordeal.
Still. When it comes right down to it, I think almost everyone looks better naked than clad in a swimsuit, but... but... well... you know....
