They just do it. So if they seem to be proposing it now, their aim is to get you to accept it. Like getting you used to being mauled at airports. Like wearing you down on bombing raids and lynchings in uncooperative countries. Like snaking out of every move to curtail the entoxification of food and air and water. Like ignoring the screaming about hit lists and military tribunals and indefinite detention and blatantly applying laws only to the rabble. They're doing these things and you're not stopping them.
