I bet if he started looking at some good fire maps he'd find the vast bulk of the multifarious conflagrations engulfing the Pacific Northwest are on federally-managed land. They're ALL, except where threatening or burning structures, being tended, rather than fought. They're almost all from lightning, and lightning fires are usually put out quickly, except the feds have decided that wildfire is natural... and natural is within budget.
