Oh, never mind. In other words, they're giving away all those acres, hanging around the perimeters looking rugged and just calling people together every few days to brag and garner admiration. Nobody's going to bring up the number of critter deaths, or the fact that I can't put my contacts in.
Or mention that outright none of this is will stay true after 9am this morning....
Next public briefing they'll be telling about the weather not leaving the fire to back down to the creek and it and all the others in the complex will be twice the size they are now... or maybe they'll get some of Moonbeam's disaster money when the burnt acreage is big enough... or just post some shit about how good wildfire is for wild lands and forests on burnt stumps after it's consumed the this county and moved to another.
