People have been remarking that I seem to have become more conservative in my old age. Not a bit. But I think I really have become restorative in my old age. As in let's-restore-our-sanity-please. I mean, my wild leftism was always balanced by a very healthy conservative streak and staunchly libertarian bedrock. I'm a damn well-rounded American, despite all.
