a special hat for attending to medical needs

I know I've already told you about the waiting area drama at the local clinic, but this is also the case in line at the pharmacy. A couple months ago a woman came up in line behind me so close I could feel her breath on my neck. She was hyperventilating and groaning and fussing back there like she was on the point of death.

I didn't budge. Did not even begin to turn around to check on her seriously overplayed state of distress. At length, the commotion stopped and the woman left the building, not even bothering to limp. She was not dead in the parking lot when I left either. She simply did not want to wait.

Neither did I. Neither do any of us.

pipe up any time....
