I have been doing my darnedest to keep my cool, but meltdown looms large. At least it's August instead of April this year. I know, I know, "cold" comfort, but I'm thinking MAYBE the agencies will have at least taken this year off their horse shit "fire is natural" bid to burn out all the fuels problems they caused.
And... speaking of government-caused wildfires... the endless one still rages on and on and on.
So what have state and local governments done about it in all the decades they've been promising us they'd fix it? They have ceased prosecuting homeless people for drugs and petty theft. I think San Francisco has a pooper scooper brigade now for some of the more important areas of the city.
