Never ever as vapid as these, or prone to taking that style of company seriously, but always, always, always welcome in those circles. It was NEVER about me. It was about how I looked. All my insigt taken as quirky entertainment and shunned or ignored if I persisted. I spent thirty years figuring out I could not fix it in myself or them. So I had to spend another thirty returning to actual self, and now looking at this is just SO saddening.
