And raining pachyderms between cats and dogs and blasts of wind and hail. Been at it for days, and will be at it for plenty more, but there was just a tiny break in the action, one good shot of sun, so I ran out and got me enough half and half to stay as hopped up on coffee as possible while huddling in here between roof leak inspections.
The hail was hitting so hard last night that it kept waking me up. It comes in waves and thunderation. Sometimes cracks, sometimes growls, but usually lots of what I think they call "bowl thunder"... where the sky is roaring in a sort of circular pattarn above us, sometimes for minutes at a time.
You should see my mudroom. It's just about to full rainforest status now.
